Capital recently reported that the prices on residential property in Bulgaria have tripled in 2002-2007, according to the national statistics. The increase in prices is felt most strongly in Sofia. In some of its districts the prices have gone up to 50 per cent last year, while the average price for one square metre is 1000 euros.
